VBS Volunteer Meeting – Rainforest Falls!

We’re getting ready for our biggest event of the year -
VBS: Rainforest Falls (July 6–10), and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Join us for a Volunteer Meeting on May 16th to learn how you can help make this an unforgettable week for the children of our church and community. Whether you enjoy working directly with kids, helping behind the scenes, decorating, organizing, or just jumping in wherever needed, there’s a place for YOU!

No experience is needed, just a willing heart and a desire to serve.

You are invited to begin the season of Lent with our reflective Ash Wednesday service at Palm Desert CPC.

This service marks the first of many Moments with the Savior—intentional encounters with Christ that shape our journey toward the cross. Through Scripture, prayer, music, and silence, we will pause to become aware of God’s presence, our need for grace, and the invitation to return to the Lord with open hearts.

Grounded in Scripture, the service will include a Prayer of Confession, a brief meditation, and the Imposition of Ashes, as we hear the ancient words: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” These moments invite us not only to acknowledge our mortality, but to receive again the mercy and steadfast love of God.

For those unable to attend at 5:00 p.m., the sanctuary will be open from 6:00–7:00 p.m. for a self-guided experience, including Scripture, prayer, and the opportunity to receive ashes.

Last opportunity to sign up for Grow Groups for Lent.

Lent invites us to slow down, reflect, and draw near to Christ. This year, our Lenten theme is Moments with the Savior, and Grow Groups are one of the primary ways we will walk this journey together.

Beginning the week of Sunday, February 22, Grow Groups will gather in homes and on campus for seven weeks of Christ-centered community, conversation, and prayer. These groups are designed to help us notice and reflect on the moments where Jesus meets us, shapes us, and invites us to deeper connection with Christ and one another.

Whether you’ve participated before or are considering a Grow Group for the first time, this is a meaningful opportunity to connect with others while engaging Scripture and the Lenten sermon series. Each group will use a simple discussion guide that connects directly to Sunday’s sermon, making it easy to join the conversation—no special preparation required.
