We had such a great night celebrating our Pastors at the Sneaker Soirée! From the fellowship to the fun, the love in the room was unmatched. It was a beautiful evening filled with laughter, joy, and so many special moments. Our Pastors deserved every bit of it! What a night to remember!

On behalf of Pastor Alonzo and Joretta Cooks, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our birthday celebration so special. We are truly thankful for the love, thoughtfulness, and time each of you took to celebrate with us. It meant more to us than words can express.

A special thank you to Bishop Derrick McRae for sharing such a powerful and timely word, and to Elder Antwaun Cooks for ministering so mightily through song. Your presence and the gifts you shared made the occasion even more meaningful. We also extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who traveled with Bishop McRae and Elder Antwaun to celebrate with us.

We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to Shirelle Hodges, who served as the event coordinator and worked diligently to bring everything together. Thank you for your dedication, organization, and thoughtful attention to every detail. We are also grateful to Pastor Byron Hodges for serving as the master of ceremonies and helping guide the celebration so graciously.

To Greater St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church, thank you for serving with excellence and helping make this occasion so memorable. To our New Beginnings CFOM family and the community, thank you for showing up, showing love, and helping make this celebration what it was. We never take the love and support of those around us for granted, and we are grateful to have shared such a beautiful moment with you.

In the month of September, Elev8 Youth’s Youth of the Month was Leo “Poppi” Parker. Poppi is a musician and athletic. He is respectful and always willing to lend a helping hand in children’s church. Poppi is also a young entrepreneur, as he is the owner of Leo’s Rice Crispy Treats & Sweets. Keep excelling! We are proud of you.
