Today we pause to pray for our troops, for their protection and strength as they serve far from home amid the ongoing military operations in Iran and across the Middle East.

We also pray for the women, children, and all innocent lives caught in the middle of this conflict — families trying to live their ordinary days, now facing fear, loss, and uncertainty that they never asked for. Their suffering and the disruptions they’re enduring remind us of the human cost behind every headline.

May there be a fair and swift end to the military operations, and may wisdom guide leaders on every side toward dialogue and de-escalation. In a region where tensions have escalated with strikes and counter-strikes, the prayers of many call for restraint, compassion, and a future where safety is not measured by war but by peace.

And above all, we pray for true, lasting peace — a peace that brings troops back home safely, shields families from harm, and creates opportunities for reconciliation rather than continued conflict. May that peace take root soon, and may lasting hope replace fear.
