Today’s message by Pastor Dukes reminded us that when our lives are rooted in God’s Word, we become like the tree described in Psalm 1:1–3—planted by rivers of water. Because we are continually nourished by God, we remain stable, fruitful, and spiritually strong.

That is why “your leaf won’t wither.” Even through difficult seasons, a life grounded in God’s truth will continue to grow, flourish, and be sustained by Him. 🌿

The scripture says to walk carefully and not as fools, but as wise (Ephesians 5:15). God blessed the Nehemiah Connection with this word: "Lord help me not to be a fool"... Many of us have been a fool or played the fool many times in our life, but we should now live wisely walking in the spirit and not after the desires of our flesh. Blessing!!!

Today was a beautiful day. We had our first baptism at the beach with a few members that wanted to identify with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. We have done what our Lord has commanded us to do (Matthew 28:19-20)

Lay aside every weight... Take off everything and anything that hinders your spiritual journey. Don't allow unforgivenes...

Lay aside every weight... Take off everything and anything that hinders your spiritual journey. Don't allow unforgiveness to weigh down in your heart until you can't swim back up to shore. Don't allow unnecessary distractions keep you from running the race that God has set before you. You can make it if you just stay focused!!! What a great word at the Nehemiah on today (Hebrews 12:1-2)
