Hey Everyone. How are you? One of the beautiful traditions of our Catholic faith is gathering together to pray and place our intentions into the loving hands of Our Blessed Mother.

Here at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, every first Tuesday of the month, immediately after the 8:30 AM Mass, we pray the Novena of the Miraculous Medal.

It is always a beautiful moment of prayer, faith, and trust in the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. So many graces have been received through this devotion over the years, and you are warmly invited to stay after Mass and pray with us.

Perhaps you have a special intention in your heart… a family member, a health concern, a difficult decision, or simply the desire to grow closer to God. Bring it all to Our Lady.

As Our Blessed Mother told Saint Catherine Labouré:
“Those who wear it with confidence will receive great graces.”

Come pray with us every first Tuesday of the month after the 8:30 AM Mass. May Our Lady continue to watch over you and your family.

Blessed day 😁

Hey Everyone. How are you? One of the most important questions we can ask ourselves today is this: What am I feeding my heart with?

The Gospel reminds us that Bartimaeus was blind… but he could hear. And everything changed the moment he heard that Jesus was passing by. What entered through his ears awakened faith, hope, courage, and a cry for mercy.

And the same is true for us. What we consistently listen to shapes our hearts. The conversations we entertain. The voices we follow. The videos we watch. The music we consume. The words we repeat. All of these things either bring light into our souls… or darkness.

When we fill our ears with gossip, anger, negativity, impurity, cynicism, and constant criticism, little by little the heart becomes spiritually sick. Poison does not always kill immediately. Sometimes it works slowly.

But when we choose to listen to what is good, holy, beautiful, and uplifting — the Word of God, prayer, encouragement, truth, worship, good friendships, and voices that lead us closer to Christ — something beautiful begins to happen inside of us. Our hearts become stronger. Healthier. More peaceful. More full of God.

Faith comes from hearing. So today, be careful what you allow into your soul. Not every voice deserves access to your heart.

May we learn to listen for the voice of Jesus above all the noise of the world. Because even today, He is still passing by.

Hey Everyone. How are you? My friends, Summer is almost here! ☀️ Vacations, road trips, family time, and moments of rest are gifts from God. Even Jesus took time to rest with friends in Bethany.

But as you plan your summer, do not leave God out of the itinerary. Rest for the body is important — but true peace comes from resting in the Lord.

Wherever you go, keep Sunday holy, find a local parish, and stay close to prayer. The most beautiful vacation in the world means little if we return spiritually empty.

Take Jesus with you this summer — and you will come back truly renewed.

Would you like some? 😁

Hey Everyone. How are you? There is a beautiful story about Saint Augustine that helps us understand the Most Blessed Trinity.

One day, Saint Augustine was walking along the beach, deeply thinking about the mystery of the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He wanted to understand how one God could exist in three Divine Persons.

As he walked, he saw a child near the ocean. The child had made a small hole in the sand and was carrying water from the sea to the hole using a shell.

Saint Augustine watched for a moment and finally asked:
“My child, what are you doing?”
The child answered:
“I am trying to place the entire ocean into this little hole.”
Saint Augustine smiled and said:
“That is impossible! The ocean is far too large for such a small hole.”
And then the child replied:
“And it is even more impossible for the human mind to fully comprehend the mystery of the Holy Trinity.”

At that moment, Augustine understood: God is so great, so infinite, so beyond us, that we will never fully contain Him within the limits of our human understanding.
And yet… this same God loves us personally.

The Father created us. The Son redeemed us through the Cross. The Holy Spirit sanctifies and guides us every day. The Trinity is not a mathematical problem to solve. It is a mystery to adore, to love, and to enter into through prayer and faith.

Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, we proclaim this beautiful mystery:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

May the Holy Trinity bless you, protect your family, and fill your heart with peace.

Blessed Sunday 😁

Hey Everyone. How are you? Today, our wonderful students and staff members of the School helped prepare 250 ribbons to celebrate our nation’s birthday! 🇺🇸

What a beautiful reminder that love for our country also means gratitude, service, unity, and remembering the blessings God has poured upon this nation throughout these 250 years.

It is always inspiring to see our young people using their hands, their creativity, and their hearts to be part of something bigger than themselves. Small acts done with love can become great signs of hope and community.

May God continue to bless our students, our school, and the United States of America. And may we always remember that true freedom is found when we walk with God, serve one another, and live with grateful hearts.

God bless America! 🇺🇸

Hey Everyone. How are you? Do you remember the meeting between Peter and Jesus after His Resurrection? The Gospel presents us with a very personal conversation between Jesus and Peter.

Think about the backstory. Peter — the one who said "Even if everyone else abandons you, I never will" — denied Jesus three times. Three times. In the courtyard, in front of a servant girl, in front of strangers around a fire. He did not just fail quietly. He failed loudly. He failed publicly. And then the rooster crowed, and Peter wept bitterly.
Since that night, they have not had a real conversation. There has been no moment to clear the air, no chance to talk about what happened. And now — here they are. Risen Jesus and broken Peter. Standing by the same kind of charcoal fire.

And what does Jesus do? He does not bring up the betrayal. He does not say — Peter, let's talk about what you did. He does not make Peter explain himself or justify himself or grovel. He simply looks at Peter and asks one question. "Do you love me?"
Three times He asks. Once for each denial. Not to rub it in — but to heal it. To replace each wound with a renewed commitment. To take the worst night of Peter's life and transform it into a new beginning.
My brothers and sisters, that is who Jesus is. He does not look backward. He looks forward. He does not define us by our worst moments. He calls us forward into our best ones.

Pope Leo XIV said, "Even if we fail, God will never fail us. Even if we betray him, he never stops loving us." That is the Peter story. That is your story too.

My friends, maybe you are carrying something today. A failure. A sin you keep going back to. A moment you are ashamed of. And maybe — deep down — you are wondering if Jesus still wants anything to do with you.

He does. He is asking you the same question He asked Peter: "Do you love me?" Answer that. Start there. And let Him do the rest.

Blessed day 😁
