What does faith look like in everyday life?

This summer, we’re launching a new conversation series: Theology Uncorked. Join us monthly for conversation, connection, and thoughtful discussion about living the Christian faith.

We’ll meet for the first time on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Guild Room. Bring your own beverage or snack, and each month a new topic will guide the discussion.

Greetings from the mountains of Western Maryland, where I’m attending the week-long CREDO Conference, a program of the Episcopal Church focused on clergy wellness and spiritual renewal.

With things heating up rapidly in our beloved subtropical paradise, I admit it was glorious to take an early morning walk in 50-degree weather and to be reminded what topography actually looks like.

Dear Friends,

As I reflect on my spiritual journey, the blowing wind of the Holy Spirit has always been active in my calling. I see its movement from my junior year abroad in Zimbabwe, where I first encountered the personal love of Jesus, to the Renewal in Christ retreat in Long Island where I met my husband. The Spirit guided my unfolding path to ordained ministry, and nearly three years ago swept me from Connecticut to Florida to start a healing center—leading right into this past year of joyful ministry at Bethesda-by-the-Sea.
