Who’s really in control of your life? In the final week of our Feeding the Flesh series, we confront the daily battle between the flesh and the Spirit and the reality that whatever we continually feed will eventually lead us.

Following Jesus requires more than partial surrender. We cannot ask Jesus to be Lord while still holding onto control of certain areas of our lives. True surrender means allowing the Holy Spirit to lead our relationships, habits, decisions, attitudes, and desires.

You don’t defeat the flesh by becoming stronger. You defeat the flesh by becoming more surrendered. So ask yourself today: Who’s holding the steering wheel?

Sometimes the problem isn’t as big as we’ve made it. We’ve just stared at it for so long that we’ve forgotten how big our God is.

WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR PROBLEM TOO BIG, YOU WILL INEVITABLY MAKE YOURSELF TOO SMALL.

Stop magnifying the mountain. Start magnifying the One who moves mountains.

Your problem may be real, but it is not bigger than your God.
