Elder Tony Jusino, Taino Behike Apprentice, will introduce the Palm Bay Community to the traditions, teachings and living culture of the Indigenous Taino people of the Caribbean.

Through story, reflection, and seasonal ceremony we will welcome the balance of light and dark and the renewal of spring.

This is a family friendly gathering . All ages are welcome.

Friends of the World Gathering will take place at Yogashakti Mission 3895 Hield Rd. NW Palm Bay Fl 32907 this coming Sunday March 15th from Noon to 4 PM.

Admission is free.

Food will be served at $10 per plate (Cash Only).

Booths of many local artists and crafts persons will be there. Cultural performances such as Bharat Natyam from India, Flute and Guitar music from Ireland, Renaissance Music from The Crested Hens, Fingernail Dance from Thailand, Capoeira and other Afro-Brazilian Dance, Flamenco
dance, Folk dances from Mexico, Drumming with Antony and Lisa will be featured.

This coming Sunday Feb. 8th from 9 - 10 AM Susan Rizzo (Shanti Priya) will give a presentation at Yogashakti Mission on the topic "Sound As a Healing Force".

She says "We will explore the uses of sound for healing in conventional and alternative healing modalities. We will experience some toning and relaxation using sound".

The program will be inside the main building which will be heated.
