The Apostolic grace demands maturity - especially when it comes to maturing from Convert to Disciple to Son.
Apostolic people understand divine timing and seasons. They are sensitive to the instructions for the season they are in and the seasons ahead and how Father is requiring them to function in those seasons.
Now let’s add these two statements together…
Luke 19:13 refers to a familiar statement that we hear “occupy until I come”. Apostolic people understand that this is more than just a statement - it is a mandate. We understand that our walk is not one that is passive, but we have been called to “root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow” and IMPORTANTLY “to build and to plant” (Jer 1:10). We are in a time of contending. We are literally in the midst of hostile takeover by the enemy. This is why it is critical that we be confident of our walk with him and our identity IN him.
We can’t afford for you (or me) to keep processing in the elementary things over and over again. Every week we starting and stopping. We gotta be refilled. We gotta be reactivated. We gotta be converted over and over again. We gotta say the sinners prayer over and over again.
No. This is a clear sign that we have not obtained maturity in our conversion, and these things destabilize the body, while enemy is steadily progressing and wreaking havoc in our families, communities, nations, and churches.
This is the hour that if we say we are the Ekklesia, we are mature in our walk with father so that we can carry out his will and mandate without all the hiccups and bumps. No this walk won’t be perfect, but sons understand their purpose and positioning, and they understand that there is no time to go back and suck on the ni**le when you should’ve been graduated to solids.
