A Mother’s Day Word:
A four-year-old and a six-year-old presented their mother with a house plant. They had used their own money, and she was thrilled. The older of them said with a sad face, “there was a bouquet that we wanted to give you at the flower shop. It was real pretty, but it was too expensive. It had a nice ribbon on it that said, “Rest In Peace”, and we thought it would be just perfect since you are always asking for a little peace so that you can rest”.
The Bible tells us of Godly mothers that were an inspiration to their children.
(1) Exodus 2: 1-10. A PRIESTLY MOTHER:
Moses’s mother devised an elaborate plan to save her son out of the hands of the Pharaoh.
(2) 1 Samuel 1: 9-10. A PRAYING MOTHER:
Although she was barren, Hannah prayed earnestly for a son and God heard her prayer and gave her Samuel.
(3) 2 Timothy 1:5. A Preaching Mother:
Paul reminded Thimothy that his service to Christ was a result of the faith and teachings he got from his mother and grandmother.
To all the mothers out there, it is important to take your Children to Church. Let them learn about the Lord and if you don’t know the Lord as your Savior, let this Mother’s Day be one to remember. Ask Jesus to come into your life.

Baptism in Cuba

The Bible says in Amos 4:12, "Prepare to meet thy God" (PTMTG). We prepare for many things in this life, Weddings, Vacation trips, Old Age, securing a pension but we don't prepare for eternity or the after life. The Bible says in Romans 14: 11-12. For it is written, "As I live saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then, everyone of us shall give an account of themselves to God". In this life, we cancel or reschedule many appointments but, this is one appointment that will be kept. Matthew's Gospel 24:44. "Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man cometh".
The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power,
To say just when the hands will stop,
At the late or early hour.
Be in time and ask God to forgive you and to come into your life.
