We had the privilege of getting to attend Girls of Grace this last weekend at First Baptist Church. Incredible is an understatement. The music, speaker, fun, and all around atmosphere was amazing. Can’t wait to attend again next year!

We would like to introduce you to our interim preacher at this time.

Lonnie and Lynne Gentry live in the Ft. Worth area. They have served churches in Oklahoma City, Georgia, San Antonio, and DeSoto for 30 years. While Lonnie preached, Lynne filled numerous roles including women's minister and director of creative arts. In 2012, they stepped away from full-time ministry and followed the Lord on a different path.

Lonnie went to work for Baylor Scott & White Health and completed a doctorate in Bioethics from SMU. He had previously received his Master of Theology from Harding School of Theology.

Lynne became a USA TODAY bestselling author of over 20 fiction books and several nonfiction works. She enjoys making people laugh or killing them off...it depends on the day!

If Lonnie and Lynne are not spending time with their two grown children and six perfect grandchildren, they are enjoying their hobbies. Lynne loves to pour God's truths into the next generation or sit by the lake with a good book. Lonnie likes to play with the grands, ride his bikes, hunt and fish, and avoid chores around the house.

Both Lonnie and Lynne feel grateful and blessed whenever the Lord calls them to come alongside a church as they search for their next pulpit minister.
