We are literally 6-10 days away from World Missions getting here to get started, when they do, things will be happening quickly
Thanks to everyone that has donated drinks, there's a lot, thank you very much, if anyone would still be interested in donating for that, you're welcome to, sugar free drinks is the biggest need with that
Thanks to everyone that has signed up to provide meals and/or snacks for the workers, 3 meals a day and 2 snacks a day is the need. We also need volunteers to help with cleanup and reorganization after each of the meals every day. No one is expected to do that after every single meal, if anyone could help with at least 1, that's awesome.
Sewing group, that will be happening each day in a classroom in the church, the workers spouses do this and what is made is donated to a mission that they support. If this interests you or if you know of someone who may want to help with that, please reach out to Elizabeth Bledsoe.
Thanks to everyone that has donated ladders, or tools of any kind, that will help tremendously.
I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but it's gratifying to see the amount of people who have stepped up to help this project take place.
From the last post, classrooms were mentioned, 5 rooms total. The largest room on the South side of building will be around 15x22, in size, that's not exact, cause I don't have a blueprint in front of me.
The largest room on the North side will be around the same. This gives you an idea, the middle of the building will be a larger multi-purpose area, more on that another time.
Ask yourself, and pray, of what can those 5 new rooms be utilized for. Yes, any youth activities, small groups, meeting rooms? All and so much more can be offered, and when planned accordingly and in cooperation with everyone in the church working together, think of what can happen. Our hearts, minds and visions for what Gods people can do to touch, teach and disciple people with the addition of more area to do so with, are endless, and should be in our prayers everyday
Think about this, countless amounts of people give up on church, but still believe in God, read that again and pray about it. Meaning, we as His people need to be committed to working towards giving of ourselves in some way to offer programs that get those people back to church.
Lots has happened, much more to come, stay in prayer for the entire project, and for the safety of everyone involved
