Holy Week here at First Christian Church is very active. Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic started our week. Next is Maundy Thursday Services on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and followed by Good Friday service, Women of the Passion, at 6:00 p.m. Sunday is 7:00 a.m. Easter Sunrise Service outside (weather permitting) and a breakfast. Morning Worship will be at 10:40 a.m.

Lenten Season is celebrated here at First Christian Church, 113 E. Crawford Street in Old Town Palestine. Palm Sunday activities include a children's processional, Easter Egg Hunt, and Family Picnic.

But it doesn't stop there. On Thursday, we will have our Maundy Thursday Services at 6:00 p.m., and a very special "Women in Passion" service on Good Friday, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday begins early here at FCC with our Easter Sunrise Service, at 7:00 a.m., followed by breakfast. Then Sunday School at 9:30 and 9:45, then Easter morning worship service at 10:40 a.m. A very special Holy Week here at First Christian Church. Join us in worship and celebration of our Lord.

Sunday, March 29, is Palm Sunday, and we are in full celebration of the Lenten Season here at First Christian Church. Along with the very special children's processional beginning our morning worship service, we will continue our celebration with praise and songs. Immediately following morning worship, which begins at 10:40 a.m., we will adjourn to the backyard Dial Memorial Pavilion for a potluck family picnic and Easter Egg Hunt. A wonderful Sunday filled with worship, excitement, good food, and fellowship.

Saturday, February 28, First Christian Church will hold a Prayer Retreat from 10:00 to 12:00, with a light lunch provided. This is a time to prepare our hearts and minds in the season of Lent that we might be in an appropriate attitude of prayer for the season. Join us at 113 E. Crawford Street, First Christian Church.
