Hey there Grace! Who is excited about Week 4 of the Summer of Country?!? Each week we will be looking at one or two of the books of the Minor Prophets and a Country Western Song that reflects the truths found in that scripture story. So… we have a little homework so that you are prepared for worship!

1) First, you are invited to read the Book(s) we will be gleaning from each week. Don’t worry, they’re short! (Length is the only “Minor” thing about these prophecies!). We will post a link to some great summary videos to help you get familiar with them as well!

2) Second, you are invited to Breakfast Club (Monday, 9am, Jocelyn’s Donuts) or Theology on Tap (Thursday, 5:30pm, Pint & Barrel) to discuss the scriptures for that upcoming Sunday.

3) Third, you are invited to add the Country Western song we will be tying to the scriptures to your playlist. It is our hope you never hear the song again without thinking about these books of the Minor Prophets, and the truths they offer about God and God’s people.

4) Fourth, BRING A FRIEND TO WORSHIP! How fun to celebrate the Summer of Country with someone else? Wear your boots, hats, jeans, or whatever makes you feel at home this summer. We welcome everyone to join us just as they are… and leave changed for good! 🙂

See you this Sunday!

Grace Family: Please join us this Thursday as we celebrate the life of our friend, Lavoy Green. We will meet at 10am at Brookdale Senior Living, sing some of his favorite hymns, share memories, and rejoice in the joy he brought to our lives and to everyone who knew him. All are welcome to wear brightly colored attire as we gather to give thanks for a life filled with love, laughter, and faith.

Grace Family: A bittersweet moment to share that our beloved Lavoy Green peacefully transitioned into the full presence of Christ our Lord on Wednesday evening, June 3rd. Lavoy was such a bright light in our church family and we will deeply miss his smile, wit, and wisdom. Please keep Lavoy's family in your prayers during this time of transition. We will share opportunities to celebrate his life over the next few weeks.
