Westwood Baptist Church

Westwood Baptist Church "Taste and see that the Lord is good., blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8. We are a family church centered on the Word of God.

Westwood Baptist Church is Reformed Baptist and members of the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention (SBTC.) Our preaching is expositional and our music is Christ-exalting and cross-centered. We seek to:
-Lay Biblical Family Foundations to Produce Many Godly Generations,
-Raise the Standard of Biblical Literacy, and
-Personally Spread the Gospel to the Nations. In our worship services, we seek to

-Read the Word,
-Sing the Word,
-Pray the Word,
-Preach the Word, and
-Follow the Word through the Lord's Supper and Baptism.

We are keeping an eye on the weather, but Soccer Camp will take place as scheduled today and tomorrow. If rain moves in, we'll bring the fun indoors!

We were especially honored to welcome guest speaker Andrea Heck, who shared a beautiful message on "The Adornment of Holy Women." Thankful for the sweet time together and for the truth and wisdom she brought to us all!
