Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a day we will never forget.
We remember the lives that were lost.
We honor the courage of those who ran toward danger to help others.
We remember the families whose lives were forever changed.
And we remember a nation that grieved together.

For many, September 11, 2001 does not feel like history. We remember where we were, who we were with, and the uncertainty of the days that followed. A quarter of a century has passed, but some moments remain with us.

Today, we simply pause to remember.
And as people of faith, we also hold onto hope.
Hope that darkness does not have the final word.
Hope that compassion is stronger than fear.
Hope that even in seasons of grief, God remains near.
And hope that we can continue to be people who love our neighbors, serve our communities, pray for one another, and bring light wherever it is needed.

On this 25th anniversary of September 11, may we remember those we lost, honor those who served, pray for those who still carry the weight of that day, and choose again to be people of hope.

We remember. We pray. We hope.

Not everything that feels like freedom leads to freedom.
Some things enter our lives looking harmless. Maybe even helpful. They promise satisfaction, relief, control, or simply the freedom to live life on our own terms. But eventually, every road takes us somewhere.
And sometimes the real question isn’t, “What’s wrong with this?”
It’s: “Where is this taking me?”
