𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤. Students had an extended Bible study on Freedom in Christ. Creative collages were made with each given a headline to illustrate, “to proclaim good news to the poor”, “proclaim freedom for the prisoners”, “recovery of sight for the blind”, “set the oppressed free”, “to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor". Youth ages 12-18 are welcome to attend Monday nights, 5-7 pm. A light meal is included with a lesson, games and activities.

Yesterday's theme was how does God see us? You are Viewed as a Beloved Child rather than seeing us as distant servants, God looks at us with the affection of a parent. This relationship means we are wanted, valued, and deeply loved, regardless of our imperfections.
