We are soaking up summer at DG with some fun outings together! Here are some of our friends who came out to the Schaumburg Boomers baseball game a couple weeks ago! Our last summer community event is on August 15th: End of Summer Outdoor Movie Night at church! We hope you can join us! ☀️ ⚾️

Divine Detours…. Nobody likes detours. We prefer the quickest route, the easiest route, and the route that makes the most sense.

But in Exodus 13, God intentionally led Israel on a detour…. A longer way, a backward way, a way that looked like they were trapped. Why?

To GUARD them, GUIDE them, and so God would get the GLORY.

If you feel like you are on a detour today, don’t lose hope. What feels like a setback can actually be God guarding you, guiding you, and positioning you for a miracle so that He can get the Glory.
