If we are honest, we all have questions about God, the Bible, and Faith that we are afraid to ask because we think we should get it by now. A few days after the resurrection, Jesus wasn’t distant or hidden, He was present.

In Luke 24, He walks alongside two discouraged followers on the road to Emmaus. They don’t even recognize Him at first. They’re confused, disappointed, trying to make sense of everything that just happened and Jesus meets them right there in it. He listens. He walks with them. He opens the Scriptures. And then, in an ordinary moment around a table, their eyes are opened and they realize… He was with them all along!

That’s still how Jesus works. He meets us on our road.

He meets us in the middle of our questions, our routines, our long walks and heavy thoughts. He’s not waiting for you to have it all figured out, He’s already walking beside you.

So today, whatever road you’re on… you’re not alone. Your risen savior is with you!

He is risen!
