HOPE

Heavenly Father, as Christmas approaches, help us remember and reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Turn our hearts toward you and keep us from being distracted by the season's busyness. Let us celebrate the hope, peace, joy, and love you gave us on that first Christmas.

Every scripture word points to the hope we have in Christ. The Christmas story shows us your incredible love, revealed through Jesus' birth. You chose humble beginnings for your Son, reminding us that nothing is too difficult for you.

Thank you for the gift of eternal life through Jesus, our hope laid in a manger. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Isaiah 58:10-14 "Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon."
