"No Longer Orphans"
Scripture: John 14:1-14
As Jesus eats a final meal with His disciples in the upper room, He gives them comfort and direction. His betrayal, trial, crucifixion and burial are about to take place. He will not be walking with them visibly for much longer. But He will send His Spirit, the Helper and Comforter to direct and guide them in the mission that He has called them to do. He does the same for us today. He will not leave us as orphans. He will come to us as the Spirit works through the living Words of Scripture.
