You ever play the lottery game when you were a kid?
Maybe this is only a game for poor kids like I grew up 😊
But you start to imagine all the things you would do when you won the lottery…
A parent or an older sibling or relative told you the riches you would have when you won.
But the game is no fun when you finally realize you're probably never gonna win.
And that realization hits like a ton of bricks.
Something you counted on wasn't going to materialize.
There will be no tree house mansion with a mini fridge!
Does your faith ever feel like that?
Like you've been let down.
Things didn't happen how you wanted.
You’ve lost some of your belief and your loss of faith makes you feel guilt and shame.
BUT
What if doubt and numbness are actually a normal part of the journey?
And what if rediscovering awe after doubt only requires us to RUN again?
(no, not that kind of running.)
I can't wait to talk about faith, doubt, numbness and finding AWE again.
See you tomorrow
