Tropical Storm Lala has formed in the Central Pacific and is approaching the Hawaiian Islands. A Hurricane Watch has been issued for the Big Island of Hawaii.

We encourage our parishioners and the wider community to remain attentive to local news media, civic and government officials, and official weather updates and to make appropriate preparations for anticipated impacts to our islands this weekend.

As we prepare, we invite everyone to join us in prayer, asking for the intercession of Our Lady of Peace, patroness of our Cathedral Basilica and of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Honolulu, for the protection of our islands and all who may be affected by the storm.

Please continue to follow the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace page, Instagram, and Website for updates regarding any changes to Masses, parish services, or activities as conditions develop.

May God watch over Hawaii and keep all our people safe.

Our Lady of Peace, pray for us. 🕊️

Happy Centennial Anniversary, Holy Rosary Church! Thank you for all the GRACES we received as we lift up ourselves in prayer to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Today, February 14, 2026, as we commemorate the groundbreaking ceremony held 100 years ago, may we remember the hopes and sacrifices of our ancestors. May we carry on their legacy for the next 100 years.
