Stretcher Bearers is an outreach of Kingdom Life Ministries that is overseen by Peter & Rebekah, stretcher bearers, walk to the beat of another Drummer. Rebekah is Peter’s handmaiden, pure and simple, and the Lord’s artist. Their “Drummer” gave them an unusual and dangerous prayer to pray, “LORD, let my life be Your glorious contradiction to the world’s definition of normal.” After praying

this prayer for many years, they live, work, and worship God “outside of the box.” You are invited to join them in this simple, but very dangerous prayer. Peter is an advocate and crusader for the mentally ill because of his own experiences. He is an enigma and consternation to psychiatrists and psychologist because he advocates and challenges the mentally ill to get along and win without a pill. Peter & Rebekah live in a very beautiful place high up in the mountains of southwestern Colorado. One person suggested that their place is the gateway to heaven.
