Providence is a committed fellowship of believers who strive to live the gospel as well as preach and teach the gospel. As a Southern Baptist Church, we take seriously our Lord's teaching in

Matthew 28:19 in which He said: "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, Baptizing them in the name of our Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Our desire is to allow God's Spirit to minister through us to teach our community, town, state, nation, and world for Jesus Christ. You are welcome at Providence. Each year during VBS, we raise money to support a local mission or outreach project. This year, the children in attendance raised more than $800 for the Helping Hands Outreach Center right here in Pageland.

As a reward for reaching their goal, the kids got the opportunity to watch several VBS workers get pied in the face! This video captures the excitement, celebration, and the good sports who volunteered to participate.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by everyone who attended. We are also thankful for a wonderful week of VBS, with an average total attendance of approximately 162 people each night, including an average of 88 children.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's VBS such a success!
