Thank you ROCK families for sending in donations for our Operation Christmas Child project. Tonight, we were able to pack 11 shoeboxes!! We filled them with items… added some love and hope and covered them in prayer for the child that will receive them! Thank you so much for your support with this!! What a blessing tonight was!!

R.O.C.K. Families,

Our next project that we are going to work on is Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We will be learning about this project and filling some shoeboxes, on Wednesday, November 8th during our R.O.C.K. ministry time. In order to make this project successful, I am asking for your help in donating the items we need to put in the boxes. Here is a list of items that can be donated:
Simple toys (ex: jacks, balls, cars, playing cards, marbles)
Water bottles
Bandaids
Tape measure
Hair accessories (little pony tail holders for braids are great)
Sewing kits
Chalk
Bright colored thread
Tools
Flashlights with batteries
Eating utensils, bowls, cups (anything they can put food in)
Simple books or picture books
Pencils with sharpeners, pens, crayons, notebooks, markers

Avoid: puzzles, army men toys, washcloths/towels (they don’t know how to use them), stuffed animals (especially white) don’t last long, KJV Bibles (they don’t speak/read English), legos

You may send in your donations from now until the Wednesday we pack the boxes. If you bring it to the church office when I am not there, tell Kim to put it in the Children’s Department office.

Parents of ROCK children,
We are doing a trunk or treat for our ROCK kids tomorrow night. They may wear their costumes. We will still meet for a lesson at 6, trunk or treat at 6:30, and a hot dog meal following the trunk or treat. Feel free to stay with them, if not, pick them up between 7:15-7:30. Thanks!

Meet the R.O.C.K. Team Thursday is back!!

Hello my name is Angie Griffin. I am married with two adult sons and three beautiful grandchildren. I teach Sunday school as well as help with our ROCK children's program. Children have such a special place in my heart. I have the privilege of getting to plant small seeds of faith into tiny little humans that will one day be a beautiful harvest for God's kingdom.

Meet Team R.O.C.K. Thursday!!

My name is Rebeka Burch. I am currently working with the 3rd-5th graders on Wednesday nights. I love getting to spend time with them and see their hearts for Jesus.
I am so thankful for our church family that pours into kids like mine to show them a Godly example and be a part of their journey.
When I'm not at church, I am a teacher at JES, girl mama, dog, cow and chicken keeper, and an avid reader.
I am so thankful my family and I found FBC Pageland and have made it our home.
