Praise God for a Heavenly Father who lovingly forgives and welcomes us when we come to Him.

In Luke 15:11-24, Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son. We follow the son’s journey from rebellion and departure to brokenness and repentance. After demanding his inheritance, leaving home, and wasting everything he had, he found himself empty, desperate, and far from where he belonged. Yet in his lowest moment, he made a life-changing decision to return to his father.
The truth is that you are only one good decision away from turning your life around.

As the son returned home, we see his reasoning, his return, and his reception. Instead of rejection, he was met with compassion. Instead of condemnation, he received grace. The father ran to him, embraced him, and restored him.
This is a beautiful picture of God’s heart toward us. When we come to Christ, we become children of God and heirs with Him (Galatians 4:7). No matter how far we have wandered, God always allows us to come home.
The father clothed his son with the best robe, placed a ring on his finger, and shoes on his feet. Each gift was a reminder that he was fully restored and accepted.

You are only one good decision away from coming back to a right relationship with God. Will you make it today?

Sometimes life turns out much different than we imagined. In Ruth 1, Naomi experienced loss, heartbreak, and uncertainty, yet God was still working in her life.
Ruth 1:1-6 reminds us that God has a plan to sustain us, provide for us, and lead us forward even in difficult seasons. Naomi’s journey back home began with one decision. She chose to return.

When life feels different than what we expected, we can still:
Trust His providence because God is in control.
Trust His provision because He has always been faithful to provide.
Trust His plan because even when life changes, God’s purpose remains.

Just because life has not gone the way you thought it would does not mean God is finished with you. He may be leading you into something greater than you ever imagined.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom. May we never take for granted the blessings we enjoy because of their courage, service, and selflessness.

The world is watching, and as Christians, we have the opportunity to show what it truly means to live out our faith in a practical way.

Romans 12 challenges believers to present themselves to God as a living sacrifice — fully surrendered and ready for Him to use. There is no safer or more fulfilling place to be than in the center of God’s will, allowing Him to work through your life.
The world says fulfillment and success are found within ourselves, but God’s Word teaches that true purpose is found through humility and surrender to Him. When we humble ourselves before God, He is faithful to lift us up in His time.
Believers are part of one body. We are not meant to live disconnected from one another, but to work together, serve together, and strengthen one another in the work of God.

As we live for Christ:
• Remember that your life belongs to Him.
• Be willing to sacrifice personal preferences for the sake of influence.
• Stay faithful and passionate in serving the Lord.
• Let your life be a testimony of Christ to those around you.

No matter what others may do, stay close to the Lord and continue faithfully serving Him. Your life may be the very witness someone else needs to see.
