Both First Presbyterian and Immanuel Baptist value ecumenism, so we’ve decided to have some summer fun! On July 19th, Pastor Lex and Pastor Katie will swap pulpits during the worship hour.

Following worship, both congregations will meet in Keiler Park for a picnic. More details to follow!

We invite you to join us this morning at Immanuel Baptist Church, located at 3465 Buckner Lane in Paducah.

Spiritual Formation Classes begin at 9:30 am. If you are a guest, a new member, or are curious about trying out a new class, stop by the Welcome Desk for information.

Worship begins at 10:45 am. This morning, we will reflect on Matthew 28:16-20 and Psalm 8 as we consider the theme of commissioning - and the God who wants to be with us.

We’ll be invited to think about how God is at work creating something within us and leading us toward peace. The idea of commission reminds us: “I gave to you, so you will now give to them.” As Anna Carter Florence encourages, we’ll pay attention to the verbs: Create, Set, Give, and Go.

If you are unable to join us in person, our worship service will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube.

This summer, Immanuel’s children will CONNECT 4 ways — with God, Friends, Family, and Community!

Swipe through to see all the fun planned for Immanuel’s Children’s 2026 Summer Series, including ice cream nights, inflatables, foam fun, a pool party, a church scavenger hunt, a preschool play date, and Parents Night Out.

We’ll also continue connecting each Sunday morning during Spiritual Formation Hour from 9:30 - 10:30 am as our children walk through our summer theme: Path to Peace with God.

Some events are for specific ages, some are for the whole church family, and some are perfect opportunities to invite neighbors and friends. Be sure to check each slide for dates, times, RSVP details, and age information.

Immanuel's Senior Adult Ministry has planned a wonderful lineup of outings for Summer 2026, including local adventures, delicious meals, music at the Kentucky Opry, and a day trip to Pennyrile State Park. ⚠️ Please note that the deadline for our trip to the Kentucky Opry is TODAY.

Whether you're a longtime participant or new to our community of faith, we'd love to have you come along. Check out the schedule, invite a friend, and sign up outside the church office.

What a joyful Pentecost Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church! ❤️🔥

Today we celebrated the birth of the Church and the gift of the Holy Spirit from Acts 2:1–21 — and our church family absolutely showed up in RED.

The sanctuary was filled with color, joy, laughter, and celebration as we worshiped together on one of our favorite Sundays of the year.

Now it’s time for the fun part: voting for our winners!

We’ll be choosing:
• one child/youth winner
• one adult winner

Each winner (plus a guest of their choice!) will enjoy lunch together with Pastor Katie.
