Today is the National Day of Prayer. It is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

The 2026 theme is “Glorify God Among the Nations—Seeking Him in All Generations”. The 2026 theme is inspired by 1 Chronicles 16:24…”Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people.”

Will you join us in praying for our nation? Will you be committed to sharing His glory and the wonderful things He has done with those around you?

In addition to praying as you feel led, please join us in prayer today for our city, county, state, and nation. Pray for true repentance and revival in the Church all across the land. Pray for families, specifically prodigal sons and daughters.

“Let each generation tell its children of Your mighty acts; let them proclaim Your power.” Psalm 145:4
