We thank everyone, and most especially our resident classical pianist herself, Priscilla, for making our afternoon of classical piano fundraiser so memorable and enjoyable! Priscilla’s Solo Piano Recital Fundraiser held on Saturday (9/26) was a fun and a financially successful event. The event was attended by over 100 guests, including Priscilla’s UCLA sorority sisters, her piano camp friends, SFVJACC Community Center friends, long-time friends from the past and current, Family members, and of course the Temple Sangha members/friends.
Priscilla beautifully performed music composed by Bach, Grieg, Chopin, Debussy,Rachmaninoff, Wild, Gershwin, and Kevin Kern, and provided brief info about the composer, and why she selected each piece. She also shared her lifelong passion and joy she gets from playing the piano, and why it’s a very important part of her life.
Priscilla would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the event on Saturday, to everyone who donated to the successful Temple fundraiser, and to all who coordinated and prepared the feast for the after party.
