I got this idea - why not send cards to people who are hurting, who feel alone, who can't find the light inside their dark? I know what it means to be one of those people. And I know what a life-changer it is when you realize - somebody sees me. Our heart begins to beat again and there is a flicker of hope, the beginnings of smiles. To help the heart beat again. elease the beginnings of smiles. It's easy. Fill out a card request form. I have the link in the NOTES section. It can be card for you or someone you know. I ask for the recipients name, address, and a little background on what is happening - and that is optional to give. Once I receive the request, I sit down and I pray. I pray for the person, for the situation. I ask God for comfort, wisdom, hope, LOVE. And then I write the card. I write what God puts on my soul. I write what every heart longs to know - You are loved. You are seen. You are not alone. I do not preach. I encourage. I do not give advice. I send hope. One of the greatest gifts is just knowing someone has whispered your name, someone has taken a hold of your situation and lifted it up, way up, with open hands. Cards that go out are anonymous.
