Church Family,
This Wednesday, October 14th, we will not have our normal Wednesday evening service. Instead, we are going to focus our time and efforts on storm relief and caring for our church family and the surrounding community.
We are asking everyone who is able to join us at the church at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14th, as we divide into two teams to serve in different ways.
Team 1: Church Relief Team
This team will remain at the church to help clean up the church grounds and take care of any needs around the property following the storm.
Team 2: Prayer & Welfare Team
This team will go out into the affected areas to visit our church members and families. We will check on them, offer encouragement, and pray with each family on behalf of Woodbine Baptist Church. After visiting and praying with one family, the team will move on to the next home on our members list until everyone has been checked on.
Our goal is to work together from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Those serving on the Prayer & Welfare Team may head home at 6:30 PM or once they have finished visiting and praying with everyone on the members list.
We completely understand that not everyone will be able to join us, and there is no pressure if you are unable to make it. If you would like someone to visit you, please send us a message so we can make arrangements to check on you and pray with you.
Church family, this is an opportunity for us to be the hands and feet of Jesus during a difficult time. Whether we are cleaning up our church grounds or checking on and praying with our brothers and sisters in Christ, every effort matters. Thank you for loving one another and being the church beyond the walls of our building.
