Middle school and high school are also one of the hardest times in a growing child's life. The biggest struggle I hear is that the expectations from parents get so much bigger, but the kids still feel stuck between little kid and big kid.

Make sure your expectations are in line with good mental health.

Where are your expectations coming from.....fear?
Other people's expectations?
What your parents did?

Life isn't a race, with one path.

Take care of your child's heart and mind, then develop an understanding for your expectations and learn to fill your own needs so they don’t need to project onto your child.

Parents! Ever struggle with how to communicate with your child at "this age"? Here's a quick article that might help put a simple tool back in the parental toolbox. Tell us what you think and add any tips for other parents! You're doing great!!

Communication can be a struggle, especially in parenthood. Age gaps, budding vocabulary, and youthful angst can leave us feeling like we’ll never be able to truly communicate with our kids—the very people we really want to connect with.

Locals, if your middle or high school student is longing for a place to connect, learn the truths of Christ, and have fun, then bring them to Covenant on Wednesdays at 6:30.

Recently, we've dug deep into popular worldviews and why having a Christian Worldview matters. Let's grow together while bringing the truth of Jesus to everyone we encounter.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, supported, and encouraged these students. For months they've worked hard to get to camp and it was so worth it. We took 7 with us this year, but we're praying to double that for next year!

Hearts are changed, they were challenged, they grew, and they're ready to share their faith with the world. ❤️

Last weekend we took our youth on a long tubing ride down the quiet river.
What a joy to see them relax, decompress from the school year, laugh, and play.
Come join us Sundays and Wednesdays where we serve a Mighty God who adores His children.

Sunday we honored Lilly Archangel as our Covenant Graduate. We got to "interview" her about her high school years, her plans after graduation, and where she sees herself in 10 years.
Her enthusiasm is delightful and we agreed in prayer that the Lord will keep her safe and she will serve Him all the days of her life.

We love you, Lilly. Congratulations on all your accomplishments. We're so proud of you!!
