February 28, 2021 It is easier to fight for Christ than to die for Christ. Acts 12 James martyed and Peter imprisoned -- God allowed James, the brother of John to die, yet He sent an angel to rescue Peter. James had the honor of being the first of the apostles to meet a Marty's death. He died as his Lord had done -- for the cause of God. Daniel 6 Daniel in the den of lions -- Daniel was preferred because an excellent spirit was in him. Daniel's enemies had no hope of accusing him of wrongdoing; their only hope of condemning him would be to require something that had official government sanction and conflicted with Daniel's loyalty to God and his word.
