but I need to be brutally honest

You are chosen.
Do you even know what it means
to be chosen?
Tenderly sought after.
Longed for.
Woven out of the purest form
of love ever to have existed.

You are delighted in.
An image bearer.
A reflection of your Creator.

He spoke breath into your lungs
because YOU matter.
Because YOU have purpose.
And because YOU were made
for this precise time in history.

NOBODY else can take your place.
So live like it.
Be so extravagant in love
that people stop to wonder
where on earth it all came from.

Today Ozone Baptist took a turn to feed students at the University of the Ozarks through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). Our ladies made & served spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and dessert including the crowd favorite banana pudding! We cheerfully fed 80 souls a warm lunch on a perfect fall day!

Our "Share the Light" trunk or treat entry was a fantastic time!
Treat bags with keychain LED flashlights, glow bracelets, glow in the dark dinos, invitation to Illumination Station VBS in July 2026, and to weekly events at OBC were freely given to everyone who came to see us.

The really delicious give-away was the "tracts" in each bag. It is a tiny illustrated book about reckless, relentless and unconditional love that can be hard to imagine. No tricks. No hidden agenda.

Our goal was to carry light with us, and teach or remind everyone we saw that they can choose to carry it, too.
