Today the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary—the birthday of our Blessed Mother.

Mary’s life reminds us what can happen when we place our trust in God and say yes to His will. Today, may we ask our Blessed Mother to help us grow closer to her Son, Jesus. 💙🙏

Haven’t registered yet? No worries! Registration will begin at 5:00 PM at the Catholic Hall.

"My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27

Today, the Monday of the Twenty-Third Week in Ordinary Time, the Church reminds us to listen for the voice of Jesus and have the courage to follow Him.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus chooses mercy and healing even when others are watching to criticize Him. May we also choose what brings life, compassion, and goodness to those around us. ❤️

🙏 Jesus, help us hear Your voice, follow You faithfully, and never hesitate to show Your love and mercy to others. Amen.

As we gather for the Holy Eucharist today, may we bring God our joys, worries, struggles, and gratitude—and allow Him to soften our hearts and draw us closer to Him. ❤️

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us to keep Him at the center of our faith. Our traditions and practices should always lead our hearts closer to God and help us love and serve one another. ❤️

Today we also remember St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa), whose life showed us what it means to see Christ in others—especially in those most in need.

🙏 Lord Jesus, keep our hearts centered on You. Help us recognize Your presence in those around us and serve You faithfully through our love for others. Amen.

As Catholics, our faith is not only something we profess—it is something we live. Today, let us choose to trust the Lord, do what is good, and allow Christ to renew our hearts. ❤️

✝️ Daily Scripture • September 3

“Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” — Luke 5:4

Sometimes Jesus asks us to trust Him when we are tired, discouraged, or unsure of what comes next. Like St. Peter, our response can simply be one of faith: Lord, if You ask it of me, I will try again.

Today, place your worries before Christ and trust where He leads you. God can do beautiful things with a heart willing to say yes. 🙏

Jesus, help us trust You more deeply, follow You faithfully, and never be afraid to put out into the deep. Amen.
