We mourn with our sister denomination the African Methodist Episcopal Church in the loss of Retired Bishop Theodore Kirkland. We pray for the church and his family during their time of bereavement.

We join the AME Church and the Kirkland family in mourning the passing of Bishop Theodore Larry Kirkland, Sr.

A visionary leader, powerful preacher, and faithful servant of God, Bishop Kirkland dedicated his life to building the Kingdom and serving God’s people. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the ministries he helped grow.

Please keep his wife, Mrs. Mary Kirkland, his family, and the entire AME Church family in your prayers.
