As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me.

I must and will pray. What else can I do? What better can I do? Betrayed, forsaken, grieved, baffled, Lord, I will call upon You. I encourage my heart in the Lord, who will bear me through this trial as He has borne me through so many others.
The Lord alone shall save me. I desire no other helper. I will cry to Him evening, morning, and noon, and I will cry to no one else, for He is All-sufficient.
How He will save me I cannot guess, but He will do it. He will do it in the best and surest way. Out of this trouble and all future troubles, the great I AM will bring me as surely as He lives. This shall be my song all through today. Is it not as a ripe apple from the tree of life? I will feed upon it. How sweet it is to my taste!

Read Ps 91 this morning in my study… I was left with this.

Our local church will only be as great as our “conception” of how great our God is.

Go read it and tell me your thoughts?

God is always good, full of mercy and grace! Faithful to His sovereign being. He’s never failed! Never will! The message at the cross was is His plea for us to submit fully to His authority in our lives. If our concept of Him is only a thought once in awhile, only come to Him in trouble, only when we need something, how much real influence does He have in our lives?

Oh Father! Press upon me your purpose, your ways , not mine! May I be an example today of your love, grace and mercy that the lost souls would see your Greatness in me. Not that they see me at all but You!! Only You!!! May my conception of you be so full of joy and influence by your Holy Spirit that no one can turn away from your ways!!

Hey everyone! I’ve got to be at church early again tomorrow!! So very sorry! I’m thinking I might start doing a pre/church worship thing on either a Friday night or Saturday night??? Thoughts?
