This weekend we had the honor of dedicating our original church bell, honoring the call for all to hear the gospel at Selmore Baptist Church since 1920. We look back on God's faithfulness to remind ourselves of how he will continue to be faithful for all time!

This serves as a reminder for one generation to teach the next generation about the faithfulness of God and the beauty of the gospel.

Growth and Gains - Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52

A small seed exponentially grows to become a large tree. A man goes and sells all that he owns to buy a field with buried treasure. The kingdom of heaven is breathtaking! Listen to what Jesus has to say about how incredible and how valuable his kingdom is.

The wheat and the weeds are growing in the same field.

Not everything that looks real is real. The enemy plants confusion. Quietly. Strategically.

But God is not in a hurry. He is patient. Giving time for repentance.

That patience is not permission. A day is coming.

There will be a separation.

So ask yourself. Am I truly rooted in Christ?

And who around me still needs to hear the gospel while there is still time?

Fellowship isn’t just being in the same room. It’s sharing life in the light.

God is light. No darkness at all.
We all fall short. No one is perfect.

But here’s the good news.
If we walk in the light and confess our sin, Jesus forgives us and makes us clean.

That’s real fellowship.
With God. And with each other.

We’re preaching this Sunday morning.

Come be part of it.

Join us tomorrow morning at 10:15 as we dive into a powerful message: “The Family of Christ” (Matthew 12:46–50).

What does it really mean to belong to Jesus?

In this passage, Jesus says something that stops you in your tracks. He makes it clear that His true family is made up of those who do the will of the Father. That changes everything.

We’ll be looking at:
• Our posture toward the family of Christ
• Our portion in the family of Christ
• Our participation in the family of Christ

This isn’t just about sitting in a seat. It’s about stepping into something real. Something deeper than blood. Something God designed for you.

So here’s the question. Are you on the outside looking in, or are you fully stepping into the life God is calling you to?

Come be part of it. Bring someone with you. Let’s grow together.
