Convictions (Romans 8:28)

And we know, everybody don't know. The word know there in the Greek means knowledge receive not thru intellectual capacity, but thru experiential situations. In other words, I'm not convince & convicted cause I read it or some preacher told me, I'm convince & convicted because I've had enough experiences to know that the Lord is a make God !! For me this is one of those scripture you can't even quote until you mature in Christ, because you got to go thru some stuff & had the Lord make ways & open doors & fight your battles. So, when you quote this, this ain't something you read in somebody's book. This is something you can say I know it for myself, cause He walks with me & He talks with me & He tells me I'm His Own !!! In the text Paul says, I been thru enough & seen enough to know that God always wins !!! This is why a relationship with God is so important because as you get to know God you get to trust God & as you trust God you develop convictions of faith in spite of how life looks. That means every time God makes a way or meets a need it should fortify your faith for the future !! You don't have a situation that is beyond the hands of the sovereignty of the Savior !!!! Things Are About To Turn Around (Jn. 5:1-15)

Its the time of the feast & Jesus has come to Jerusalem to celebrate the feast & in this text we are introduce to a pool call Bethesda. Bethesda is translated scholars say to mean the house of mercy. They are at the house of mercy & ain't nobody look like they had any mercy !! Sounds familiar, We go to the house of mercy & all of us is a mess. Our mess may not all be the same, but everybody has got a mess in some kind of way !! Not only does the place sounds familiar, but the practice. Because the text says, they all gather with some kind of mystical understanding that & angel trouble the water & when the water was trouble if you got to the water first you would be heal. So, they came to the house of mercy looking for a trick to make them feel better. Sometimes I feel like I'm at Bethesda because some of us are looking for a trick. When difficulties invade their life they coming running to Bethesda thinking that they can get a quick trick & all of a sudden their problems are going to disappear !! How sad it is that people every now & then will use the church as a trick & try to turn the house of mercy into the house of ill repute !! The reality is, they're not looking for mercy, but manipulation. If they could just get the trick to work for them then my life is going to be better. Jesus ask the man a question (verse 6) Do you want to get well? He gives nothing but excuses. So instead of Jesus dealing with with your excuses He moves on to your blessing. Which means, don't spend your life empowering your excuses !! If Jesus heals you, you got to get out the bed & on the ball, if Jesus heals you then you got to go back to school get your degree since you know that you need a degree to get a job other than slinging french fries at McDonald's !! Jesus said to the man rise, take up & carry your mat. Walk out of here carrying what is the evidence of the condition you been living with & don't throw it away carry it. The reason some of us can shout is because the evidences that you hold is that you're walking, but you're carrying some stuff & with everything you're carrying you look better than the hell you're catching !!! The man goes to church carrying the evidences of his previous condition. May I suggest to you, when you go to church carry your mat with you. I get so tired of these stuck up I ain't never did nothing, sitting on their blessed assurance church folks !!! With everything Jesus brought me thru it becomes a testimony of where He brought me to!! Don't leave your mat in the house. Yes I was addicted, yes I was a ho**er, yes I was a drunk & a player, but since I met Jesus Thing Are About To Turn Around & what a wonderful change in my life has been wroth !!! This Is What I Expected (Luke 19:2-9)

If there is one thing that has great power & influence over our mind it is the reality & power of expectations. Whether you know it or not expectations have incredible created power in our life especially when it partners with our faith. If only we could really understand the role that expectation plays in creating the atmosphere which enables blessings to happen then we would really appreciate the power of expectation that is unleash by our faith. Expectation can be seen as the magnet that draws your blessings closer to you until it becomes your possession. In Luke 19:2, it was the expectation that made Zacchaeus clime up a tree. His actions was driven by his expectation, his expectation did not fail to draw the attention of Jesus. Jesus look up & call him as a result salvation came to his home. Zacchaeus was confronted & confined by certain limitations both physical & spiritual. He was a short man. So his size was a impediment to his view to see Jesus. He was a sinner & he knew it. His urgent desire for salvation is what had him to clime that tree, He was desperate enough to see Jesus that he refuse to allow the impediments to hinder him. His expectation created & atmosphere for & encounter with Jesus. Expectations when ignited by faith can create & atmosphere for blessings. Expectation is the manifestation of the faith we profess. I see my faith at work in my actions & my actions give a way my expectations. After sending forth the intent of your faith through prayer start looking forward for it to happen!! Expect it & anticipate that its going to happen. Its almost like you're so sure of it being in the natural order of things that you have no doubt about its impending appearance !!!!! THIS IS WHAT I EXPECTED !!!!! In Hope, The Preacher

Doubt Will Cost You (Matt. 21:21-22)

When it comes to the Christian life, the success
in the life of a Christian always starts with their faith.
Faith is the supernatural power of God made available
to you & I so that we can transform conditions, circumstances & situations !!! Faith has shifting power
to shift things in your life. Faith is what brings success
in your life. That's one reason why the enemy tries to use
doubt because doubt will do in your life the opposite of what
faith will do in your life. There are many Christians who live in doubt, because doubt is not the result of ignorance, doubt is
the result of knowledge that you don't trust God!! You are able to establish things in your life that is possible because
of your faith. If I live with doubt I will establish in my life impossibilities. Satan wants you in doubt, because doubt
leads to disbelief & disbelief leads to disobedience!! Satan
will use anything he can to put you into doubt, disbelief & disobedience. He will use your friends, your haters, your mistakes, your past. Satan will use all of those things, because success & fail, doubt & disbelief are the things that
establish expectations in your life. Expectations can create &
atmosphere that can get you to your blessings when it is ignited by your faith. Expectations can be seen as the magnet that draws you closer to your blessings until it becomes your possession !!!!! Because we tend to experience what we expect. Don't Let Doubt Cost You !!!!!!!
