Happy Birthday to our Pastor Edgar A. Mohorko. On this day we hold close that he is celebrating in the presence of the Lord. To honor this day we are sharing one of his favorite things this time of year, Santa’s visit to the church to share the story of Christmas. This video is from the 2018 service.

This was the last Pastors Appreciation video that we did in 2019. This video contains messages from those in the HopeBoyz/HopeGirlz mentoring home and our Messiah’s Kids Ministry. It even has the typical message from our resident funny crew that could never be serious for too long, but that was the way of our congregation. We took care of business but always remembered to include a time to be silly and have fun. This is just a tiny snippet of the impact our beloved Pastor made.

Thank Pastor for your many years of service, you have raised us well in the word, it is now time to rest.

For any who follow this page that may not have already heard the news it is with heavy hearts that we share this announcement with you all.

On July 29, 2025, Rev. Edgar A. Mohorko, Pastor, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Godfather, mentor, has gone to be with the Lord. He was so excited for everyone he was going to see in heaven. Especially holding his daughter Jessica “Eca” and granddaughter Janaiv.

There are so many people that loved him. While the physical body of Pastor Edgar Mohorko is at rest, his spirit will live on through all of the people that he encountered. It would be impossible to estimate the lives that he changed.

Please keep his family and those that loved him in your prayers during this difficult time.
