"Jesus Christ plays a central role in our beliefs and in our lives. Our mission is to invite all of God’s children to follow Jesus and experience the joy that is possible because of Him." - Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

We are the Santa Clara Ward, within the California Camarillo Stake. A 'ward' is a community and local congregation of members; several wards create a 'stake'
Equivalent to a Pastor, our ward is presided over by a Bishop and his two counselors. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/welcome/what-do-latter-day-saints-believe?lang=eng

Each Sunday we have the opportunity to be reminded of Gods love for us. How do you feel the Lords love when you go to Church?

This sacrament meeting the speakers talked about Jesus’ love for each of us. They shared stories from apostles and scriptures including President oaks story about the root, Jesus telling the disciples to cast the net, and Jesus asking Peter if he loves him. Each Sunday members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints meet together to share gospel truths with those around them. We are truly blessed from the time and love that went into preparing the Sacrament meeting talks. Included in this post is the question ‘how do you put Him first in your day?’ Feel free to share your answer in the comments.
What stories or parables remind you of God’s love?

💕”One Sunday each month, Latter-day Saints observe a “fast” day. On this day, we [are encouraged to] neither eat nor drink for two consecutive meals. We are also asked to contribute money that they would have spent on food for those meals to the Church, which, through its welfare system, uses to care for those in need.”-

💕Our congregation is also given the opportunity to share their testimonies every Fast Sunday.
