Today was a great day of fellowship and friendship. What a wonderful way to bring Orchard ā€œofficiallyā€ to a close - with the celebration of new life in Jesus and baptism. The last 5 years have been life impacting. As we each continue in our Journey with Jesus, know that you don’t have to do life alone just because we aren’t meeting together on Sunday mornings anymore. Our relationships and friendships run deep - and aren’t based on a weekly gathering. Relationships will continue and strengthen if we are intentionally in each other’s lives. WE are The Church. The Church isn’t a building and she isn’t the title of a gathering even though that’s what she has been called. The Church is the body of Jesus - WE are His hands, His feet, His heart, His mouth, and meant to be His representation of love to all those He brings us in contact with. We can still be that - and we can still be that together... we just may have to be more creative and think out of the box... which is kinda what we’ve been doing for the last 5 years anyway šŸ˜‰

Hello Orchard Dads and Moms: Yes, this post is for Dads and Moms!!!šŸ¤“ I just wanted to share something that has been on my heart. You guys are my hero’s!!! I look back on this past year and the changes you have all had to make due to Covid. The extra things, and adjustments you’ve made to make things work for your family. I know you know this but God had has went before you, and is with you, and will continue to be with you through this. I miss all of you very much, and am praying for all of you. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you until we can be together again. Hang in there. God has got this! Love all of you much!!! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøPSALM 103.

Hey Orchard Kiddos. Hope you guys are well and staying warm. We are social distancing again this week. Hopefully we can meet together next week. There has been a lot in the new lately. National elections, protest, Covid, cold weather, sports, and so much more. But the best news that ever came was the gospel! Jesus came to earth so that people might be reconciled(to be in agreement) to Him. This month we will focus on stories of Jesus and others sharing the good news that only Jesus can bring.Today, we will hear the story of the Samaritan woman. This story is found in the New Testament, John 4:1-42. During Bible times many people collected water from a public well. In the story today, Jesus stops to rest at one of these wells as he traveled trough an area called Samaria. These people believed in false gods, and in Jewish culture, men did not talk with women in public. But this did not stop Jesus. He knew the woman at the well needed God’s love. Watch the video below to see what happens. WOW!!! Not only did the Samaritan women experience the love of Jesus, she also told others about Him. We can love others in our community and tell them about Jesus just like Jesus done with the Samaritan woman. We need to let others know God loves them, no matter what they have done, or what is going on around us. Pray God will give us opportunities this week to show His love to others. He is worthy of all our glory, honor and praise. I love and miss you guys. Praying each and everyone of you has an awesome week! Blessingsā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøhttps://youtu.be/6Vf3rqnoG5c

Jesus talks to a Samaritan woman at a well about worshiping God, and she helps spread the news of Jesus to other Samaritans. John 4:1-42
