As we approach Easter Sunday with great joy and anticipation—celebrating worship, the preaching of the Word, sweet family gatherings, and all the beauty of this sacred season—let us pause and remember the sorrow and suffering our Savior endured in the days leading up to His glorious resurrection.

Good Friday is just two days away.

Let us prepare our hearts to reflect deeply on Jesus’ obedience to the Father unto death, and the incredible strength and courage it took to endure such pain and misery for our sake.

Even today, many Christians around the world face life-threatening persecution. Let us pray earnestly that the Lord would be gracious to deliver them from their oppressors, and that He would crush the kingdoms of those who seek to harm His beloved children.

As we celebrate, may our joy be rooted in reverence, gratitude, and awe.

May all of Christ’s followers be free to praise and worship the Living God this Good Friday and Easter Sunday. ✝️✨

This past Sunday, we were blessed by the preaching of God’s Word from Psalm 145, delivered by a seminary student from within our own congregation. 🙏

As Chaplain Aaron Swartz shared in his introduction, it was truly a joy to witness a young man in today’s world boldly pursuing the call to preach. Moments like these are a reminder of God's continued work in raising up faithful servants.
