Adults & Teens, we need your help! We have great plans for our families but we can’t do it without you.
Each Thursday from May 11 through June 22, 10am-6pm, we will be hosting work days for our
Family Life Ministry! Please RSVP ASAP for any and all dates that you can serve.

Projects will include: Building and installing VBS props and set pieces, Setting up and decorating VBS stations, Cleaning, Moving furniture, Moving and organizing storage rooms, Demo, Painting, Crafting, Setting up new PreK/Kindi Classroom, Creating a new 2-3 Yr old room, Creating a Nursery, Decorating and building for the kid corner spaces in Mattox Hall for Sundays, New Youth room installations, Installing main stage backdrop.

Hey Hey The W.A.Y.!

This Saturday, April 15th in Mattox Hall from 10am-4pm, Word Alive is hosting a very special, hands-on ministry training and activation day just for you guys! This All In Youth Launch will include a number of other youth groups from the Alabama Cohort.

Please plan to be there!

Special guest speakers, Abi & Belkis from Auburn, will be empowering and activating you in a unique form of prayer and intercession.

Everyone is encouraged to bring some form of laptop, phone, or iPad to do online research.

We will be providing lunch, drinks and snacks so PLEASE RSVP ASAP!

We really hope you can make it!

~Our regular youth meeting is ON for tomorrow night 6-8pm.
~Any of you who want to join the Youth Worship Team please come at 4:30 for our first rehearsal!
~And any guys and girls who can come earlier to help us do some tearing down and setting up are invited to come as early as 2:00 for some fun manual labor 😂

We are building our prayer wall a little more each week. Each child will be posting a page with the names of all their family members and we are pressing in to the Spirit of the Lord to see a true awakening and revival in our HOMES!

Tonight (Thursday, April 6) join in agreement with us for YOUR family and the families of all these kids.
~Step outside together each night between now and Pentecost (50 nights).
~Look at the stars and remember the goodness of the Lord.
~Declare:
The Path of Life.
The Joy of the Lord.
Revival in the Family.

“You make known to me the path of life; In your presence there is fulness of joy; At your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.”

These “Resurrection Rolls” are sweet and delicious and so much fun to make with your kids! We are going to make them again this weekend. If you get an opportunity to make them, please let us know and post pics in the comments!

During the 50 days between Passover and Pentecost we will be joining together as families to declare THE PATH OF LIFE! THE JOY OF THE LORD! & REVIVAL IN THE FAMILY!

Each night, for 50 nights, step outside for just a minute before bed. Have everyone in your household look up at the stars and turn your hearts for a moment to our wonderful God who made the heavens and the earth. Simply declare these words and agree together: The Path of Life! The Joy of the Lord! & Revival in the Family!

By doing this, we are seeking, knocking, and positioning ourselves for the outpouring.

* Put a sticker on a star each day as it passes to help you count up to Pentecost. Also, because stickers are fun. If you didn’t get a countdown poster and stickers last Sunday, it’s not too late! Start on Thursday night, April 6, and grab one this Sunday to use the rest of the season.

Family Table Talk!
Everyone knows that eating together is bonding and builds family relationships. Did you know that those things lead to higher self-esteem and more resilience in kids as well?

Here is a fun game to play at a family meal this week!

20 Questions: Family Memory Version
One person thinks of a family memory. Then everyone has to ask questions to try to figure it out: Did it happen during a holiday? A meal? Was it a funny memory? We’re there any friends involved? And so on, until you either guess the memory or reach 20 questions. This game is fun and it also helps preserve memorable experiences by remembering and talking about them together. You might be surprised by which memories your family members come up with. You may find yourself with the opportunity to gently process difficult memories together or to create new ones by reliving great memories over a meal.

Set a reminder so you don’t forget! Our Word Alive Youth (7th-12th) meet each Wednesday night in Mattox Hall! This week we’re gonna celebrate with a Passover Seder together. It’s gonna be so fun!

*Our 7th-8th graders also have a special service on Sunday mornings at 11am. Send them our way!

HAPPY PESACH!
Passover begins Wednesday night at sunset. Passover is a festival for remembering how the Lord dramatically and miraculously brought the Israelites out of cruel slavery and into the freedom to follow Him. A lamb was sacrificed and the blood of the lamb was painted onto the doorposts of the home which caused death to pass over that home and not enter in. Of course, Jesus is THE LAMB of God who was slain for the sins of the whole world. Jesus defeated death once and for all!

Passover is an amazing time to remember the miracle of our salvation, our deliverance from spiritual slavery, sin and death, and to remember all of the mighty acts of God to our lives.

This little-kid friendly version of a Passover meal is so sweet to do together. Your big kids might just love it as well!
