GRATEFUL FOR FAITH THAT MOVES

Yesterday, we were reminded through song to be grateful for all God has given us, including the gift of FAITH.

Then James 2:14–16 challenged us to consider what that faith looks like in our everyday lives.

Pastor Cooper explained that faith isn’t simply something we say we have. Faith moves. Faith serves. Faith responds.

Sometimes we may even find ourselves praying about something God has already called us to do. When we see a need, perhaps our prayer should also be, “Lord, how can You use me?”

Our hands. Our feet. Our eyes. Our ears.

Faith gets involved.

May we be grateful for the faith we have…and willingness to LIVE IT OUT.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17

There’s something special about Sundays at Delrayno. 🤍

Last Sunday, our children gathered close for Children’s Time, open, attentive, and ready to hear. What a beautiful reminder for all of us as we come together this Sunday: come with an open heart, be honest before God, and be ready to receive what He wants to teach us.

WMU Representative, Sue Johnson, delivers care bags (from Delrayno’s WMU) to West Oxford Elementary School for student use. Bags are filled with a change of clothing for students who may need a change of clothing while at school.

Yesterday was a special day at Delrayno!

We celebrated as two of our own were ordained as deacons, surrounded by prayer, love, and their church family.

We also continued our study through James and were reminded:

Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Don’t measure people by what they have or don’t have.

Love your neighbor. Love people like Jesus.

Because real faith produces real change. When we have the faith of Jesus, it changes the way we see, love, speak, and live.

May our faith not just be something we profess but something people can see.

Delrayno’s Hands and Feet Ministry packing plates for our monthly meal delivery. Plates are delivered to community members who are shut in, sick, our elderly, to those who need a little tlc. We are so thankful for ALL our volunteers for coming and helping with this ministry. A BIG shout out also to those who help with deliveries and spend some time with those who receive our meals.

NEW AT DELRAYNO — KIDS CAMP!

We’re excited to announce that beginning Sunday, September 13, we’ll be offering Kids Camp during Worship for children ages 5–10!

Following Children’s Time, our kids will head to Kids Camp for a fun and meaningful time together featuring:

Bible Lesson - Craft - Music - Snack

Our goal is to create a special place where our children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their faith while having FUN!

WE NEED YOU, TOO!

We’re looking for adults who would love to serve with Kids Camp. We need 2 adult volunteers each Sunday to help make this ministry possible.
