You might feel like you're just floating in a basket right now, but God hasn't lost sight of you. Yesterday we talked about Moses on the Nile...
Some of you are in a basket season - you feel exposed, floating, out of control, and all you have is a little pitch and prayer holding you together. But if God has your back, the river that was supposed to drown you will deliver you. GOD GOT YOUR BACK even when you are hidden and helpless.
This is what God does:
He brings you out of hiding and into favor.
He draws you out of the water that should have killed you.
He draws you out of what was supposed to be your ending and makes it your beginning.
Moses is drawn out of water in Exodus 2:10, and 80 years later, he will draw a whole nation out of the same water at the Red Sea.
God didn't just rescue Moses FROM the water, He rescued him FOR a purpose. That hard place you came out of is going to be your credential. Your Nile is your testimony.
We will have seasons when we feel like we are forgotten!
You served, you sacrificed, you sowed - and the new boss, the new people, the new season acted like you never mattered?
Israel went from the palace to the pit. From favored to forgotten.
But by Exodus 2:10, a baby that should have been dead in the Nile is now alive in the palace. The same house that tried to kill him is now paying to raise him.
.If God did that for Israel and for Moses, He can do it for you.
You may feel forgotten like in Exodus 1:8, and you may feel like you're floating in a basket right now, but your Exodus 2:10 is coming - the day God draws you out.
