Facebook, today is my dad’s birthday March 18,2026 Robert Montgomery Jr, would have been 104 years old, my dad was one of the best, a no nonsense type guy, love his family most of all. My how I miss this guy, I look at my brothers and see him in everyone of them, live on Bubba, Happy heavenly birthday dad we miss you.

Good morning Facebook , I pray that all is well, I want to take time to honor one of the great Sunday School teachers ever, sis. Mattie Vincent, a wonderful woman, God placed in my life early, she went to her Heavenly Father Friday morning, the 13th of march please help me honor her legacy at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church, her Home going service will be held Friday the 20th of march at 12:00 to be held at Goodson’s Funeral Home.

From the Pastor’s Desk !
Salem, we are saddened to see our teacher, mentor and friend fall asleep , but we should look at the legacy Dr. Benn left us , the work on our sanctuary, how did a good ,works all the great teaching the many great sermons that he preached, the growth of our church family. Pastor Benn never be forgotten at Salem. May God be with us as we prepare to say farewell to a wonderful spiritual warrior, Dr. Jessie BennJunior.

My first post on this New Year’s Day, Salem we have experienced the greatest of all revivals of our times, God has been awesome as it been bringing us people of peace and purpose, love of the word of God abides at Salem , she is a Church of God’s presence and purpose and perseverance, no Weapon formed against her shall prosper!! We have gained a Godly peace now found in worldly worship, only in a spiritual worship of our Lord and Savior, we have an out-reach ministry that leads the way to way of salvation, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and pointing the lost to Christ , an awesome mission is born out of Salem, The Wheel Discipleship and mentorship program, a Nonprofit 501c3 approved program, we are truly grateful for this mission. I was humbly honored this past year as one of the Humanitarian of the year, thru the Central Alabama Gospel Award, so let’s not stand still, let keep moving forward.
Remember, this one thing, we are a Church of peace Purpose and perseverance.
