We are excited to begin a weekly journey through Surah Al-Kahf, reflecting on its timeless lessons of faith, wealth, knowledge, and power, and how they connect to our lives today.

Each week will include Qur’an recitation, Tafsir, discussion, reflection, and practical lessons.

📖 For Brothers & Sisters, Ages 12+
👦 Brothers: Saturdays at 1:30 PM
👧 Sisters: Fridays at 6:15 PM
📍 At the Masjid

The program will conclude by Ramadan with a Qur’an competition, including Surah memorization and Tadabbur.

Alhamdulillah, Oxford Muslim Society had a wonderful celebration of Eid ul Adha with our community. It was a day filled with prayers, smiles, brotherhood, sisterhood, delicious food, and memorable moments with family and friends.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and support to make this event a success. May Allah (SWT) accept our sacrifices, bless our community, and keep us united in faith and friendship.

Assalamo Alaikom,

We are pleased to announce that the Eid Picnic will take place on Sunday 05/31, at Sardis Lake, Insha’Allah.

🕑 Time: Starting at 2:00 PM
📍 Location: Sardis Lake – Shelter Paradise Point 1

OMS has kindly reserved the shelter and will provide:

* Chicken
* Beef burgers
* Rice
* Salad
* Condiments
* Burger buns
* Plates, napkins, and water bottles

🍰 Guests are welcome to bring desserts and soft drinks.

Eid Mubarak! We’re excited to celebrate this special day together as a community.

The Eid prayer will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at *7:30 AM* at *Jackson Avenue Center* (1111 Jackson Ave W, Oxford, MS 38655)

Following the prayer, please join us for a community *breakfast potluck*. Bring your favorite dish to share as we celebrate together.
