OUR STORY:
Pastor Wes Jones dreamed of planting a church with a mission and a purpose that is derived from and driven by the heart of God- “Love God. Love people, and help the two become closer.” On July 15, 2012, a group of 24 leaders, The C.O.R.E. (Centered On Reaching Everyone), met together for the first time in the meeting room of a local restaurant in Oxford. It was there that Pastor Wes cas

On August 12, 2012, weekly leadership meetings were moved to the Hilton Garden Inn due to the need for a bigger and more conducive setting. That is where the first pre-launch service was held on August 26th with 60 people in attendance. Fellowship Church is a name that was dropped into Pastor Wes’ spirit after reading 1 John 1:3 "We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you may also have fellowship with us. In the Greek, fellowship is koinonia. This means, “Communion by intimate participation.” Fellowship Church is a place where people can make a genuine connection with others that will eventually lead to a lasting relationship with Christ. OUR VISION:
Fellowship Church is a church that is Christ centered and Holy Spirit led. It’s a place where Biblically sound preaching and teaching are done in excellence. We aim to reach those that are hurting and discouraged by living, laughing, learning, and loving together. It’s a place where discipleship is strongly encouraged and practiced. No matter how large we may get in number, we want to always be a place where you can feel that everyone knows your name.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of honoring Ms. Holly for many years of selfless love, sacrifice, and dedication to the children and families of Fellowship Church.

Through the years, she has loved, taught, encouraged, and poured into countless children through FC Kids. Her impact reaches far beyond a classroom or a ministry, and we are so thankful for every life she has touched along the way.

Thank you, Ms. Holly, for faithfully giving your time, energy, heart, and love to this church and its families. We love you, we appreciate you, and we are so thankful for the legacy you leave behind! ❤️

There’s still room at the table.

Every table holds a story. It’s where we laugh, share meals, have hard conversations, make memories, and welcome people in.

And throughout Scripture, we see that God has always been preparing a table and inviting people to come close.

The best part? There’s still room.

There’s still someone who needs an invitation. Someone who needs to know they’re loved, wanted, and there’s a place for them.

That’s our part. To carry the invitation and keep inviting. 🪑

👉Worship Team – Leading our church in worship through music. (Instrumentalists are a current need in this ministry!)

👉Livestream Team – Operating our online livestream so people can stay connected from anywhere.

👉inHabit Youth – Mentoring and discipling middle and high school students as they grow in their faith.
👉Maintenance Team – Helping care for our church by maintaining the grounds, assisting with outdoor upkeep, and completing facility projects as needed.
👉Social Media Team – Creating and sharing content that helps tell the story of what God is doing at Fellowship.
