In 1959, the “Church That Meets at Meadowbrook” was started as a mission of he First Baptist Church of Oxford, Alabama. After only seven months, on April 24, 1960, Meadowbrook Baptist Church was constituted with Rev. Currently we are searching for new pastor with Rev Trull Hill as our interim. Our Church’s motto, “Built to Minister” was adopted in 1966 and has been the goal of our existence as we

endeavor to reach out into our community in various ways. Sunday worship services with exciting music, Sunday School for all ages, adult Bible study groups, a variety of adult ministries, mission groups, media library and Meadowbrook Abundant Childcare are all for the purpose of sharing the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Over Meadowbrook’s 50 years of ministry to our community, the staff, congregation and buildings have changed but our message remains the same: Jesus Christ died for all. VBS is right around the corner at Meadowbrook Baptist Church! We would love for all kids age 4 through those who just completed 6th grade to join us for an unforgettable adventure through the Hills of Ireland 🇮🇪, where we'll learn that The Lord is our Shepherd 🐑 who will never leave us or forsake us (Psalm 23). Due to the expectation of inclement weather this afternoon, MBC will dismiss all of tonight’s services (May 6, 2026). This includes the students’ planned trip to Leatherwood for the United Students Event.

Please stay safe and dry as we look forward to worshipping again together on Sunday!
